(FX) The Bridge is a present-day crime thriller exploring the tensions on the US-Mexico border. When an American judge known for her anti-immigration views is found dead on the bridge connecting El Paso and Juarez, Sonya Cross (Diane Kruger) from El Paso PD must work with her Mexican counterpart from Chihuahua State Police, Marco Ruiz (Demian Bichir), to catch a serial killer operating on both sides of the border.

Marco understands the slippery politics of Mexican law enforcement, and while his police force slowly succumbs to the pressures and demands of the cartel, he’s one of the last good men in the department. He’s charming, but also cunning as he will do whatever it takes to get what he needs. This does not sit well with Sonya, who has Asperger’s and strictly follows rules as well as protocol.
Her candid and off-putting personality fuels an unforgiving drive for truth. The case quickly pulls them into a string of murders on the border, a scene already consumed by illegal immigration, drug trafficking, violence and prostitution.

The Bridge co-stars are Ted Levine, Annabeth Gish, and Thomas M. Wright, and Matthew Lillard guest stars. Gerardo Naranjo directed the pilot episode.

The Bridge debuts on Wednesday, July 10 at 10 PM ET/PT

The  portrait, done by John Currin in 1991, was expected to get between $1.8 million and $2.5 million at auction at Christie’s Post-War & Contemporary Evening Sale, and ended up selling for $1,915,750, but the mystery buyer’s identity was not released.

Hudson had expressed interest in joining the show and recently recieved the offer. Currently, her people are in negotiations with the show production company and a deal should be processed soon, however it can take as long as six months for any official announcement.

A source close the show has revealed that the producers feel they have lost their “core audience” and are leaning toward the idea of bringing back past Idol favorites as a way to make things up to fans, who have been turned off by many of the shows mistakes over the past few seasons.

Due to governmental budget cuts, there will be no post fireworks for Fort Bragg. Our post is home to more Army tradition than any other installation, has produced the most Medal of Honor recipients, and is seen as the center of the Army Universe. To not have a fireworks display on our nation’s day of independence for those who have fought to secure our freedom is not only a morale-degrading scenario but also a shame to those who have sacrificed so much. As an Army leader, I believe a fireworks event celebrating all that Soldiers fight for would not just boost morale but also let them know that, despite our difficult fiscal times, they are not forgotten and still have the support of those they fight to protect.

Union Beach, NJ – Nominated by Robert LaBerta
I’m a humble 37-year resident of a small NJ town. During Superstorm Sandy, 90% of our town was flooded and many homes destroyed. The residents of my small town came together to not only rebuild but save each other emotionally. I had the honor of being the Union Beach Fire Department Chief during Sandy. There were incredible acts of valor and courage not only by our emergency services but also by our residents. Many of those in neck-deep water saving whoever they could however they could. Our town will rebuild, displaced residents will come back, and we will prevail. Please consider having this great event in our small town of Union Beach. It would bring back a sense of normal life to our community and celebrate our determination and pride after Sandy. Thank you for your attention.

Enterprise, Alabama is not our hometown but my husband’s duty station. Even though we did not pick to live here, we still feel it is our home. Enterprise is a military town that is right next to Fort Rucker. We feel that this town would deserve a big 4th of July celebration because of all the brave men and women that serve this country on a daily basis. It would also benefit all the local businesses that support families like ours. Most people here make big sacrifices to serve our country and they should be able to have a fun celebration. I am sure the soldiers of the United States Army would appreciate this very much!

Lewistown, MT – Nominated by LaVonne Jurack
I write this essay for my Mom, Elizabeth Limpus, 82. Our town of about 6000 is a great place to grow up, but times were and are hard for families. Mom and her sister, a nun, Sister Claudellen, now 81, ran a firework stand into their 70s for over 50 years, a tradition they continued from their father, who started it in 1943. People came to the stand to see my Mom, mainly. She gave away more fireworks then she ever sold. Little kids, with dimes, nickels and quarters, would leave with bags of delights for their celebration. Kids would travel on their bikes all the way across town to see Mom, even if there was a stand just down the road. Mom made a lot of people happy. Mom misses her stand very much and would like to offer our town one last shabang with your help!

Blue Ridge, GA – Nominated by Jill Brewer
There is not thanks enough for this town that has given us so much. My husband was injured while serving in Afghanistan. He is being medically retired from the Army, and we received a house in Blue Ridge. We have never been here and didn’t know what to expect. We have been met by overwhelming support, love, and caring. My husband can’t use his hands much, so a bunch of people from the town came out to help us move our furniture into our new house. Everywhere we go, people greet us, thank my husband for his service and sacrifice, and ask if there is anything we need. This town has made us feel welcome. We can never thank them enough for what they have given us. We would love to be able to give back to them. My husband is a Hero, but this town is full of heroes.

Pontiac, IL – Nominated by Kristy Schires
I call Pontiac, Illinois home. Pontiac created heartfelt memories for me growing up there in the ’60s, ’70s and ’80s. A small Midwest community, it is full of special people who come together when needed. Whether it be painting a house, fixing a car, delivering meals for someone who can’t get out, or fundraising for friends in need (they raised over $10k in 1998 when my father had major surgery), Pontiac pulls together. I couldn’t have picked a better place or time with better people to grow up. The bond with the folks I had in Pontiac is hard to explain, but it’s a feeling of comfort, a safe feeling, a true feeling of being loved, and I’m reminded of that each time I visit. The people of Pontiac deserve, and would be most appreciative of, a wonderful 4th of July celebration. Thank you for your consideration.

I believe my town deserves a 4th of July celebration because nothing says America more than Box Elder, SD. We are home to the Lakota Native American tribe and the Ogalala Sioux Tribe. The first Americans. Also, Box Elder is Home to the 28th Bomb Wing Air Force Base. We are proud of our American men and women that fight for the freedoms we all enjoy daily! Additionally, Mount Rushmore is a close-by favorite American family destination enjoyed by thousands of Americans annually. We are hardworking, honest Americans that deserve this celebration.

(CMT) The world’s most renowned custom motorcycle manufacturer and its fearless leader return to television in ORANGE COUNTY CHOPPERS, a new eight-episode series produced by Pilgrim Studios and premiering on CMT later this year. With OCC revitalized in killer style, the show follows Paul Teutul Sr. (“Senior”) and his team as they reach new extremes resulting in mind-blowing bikes and, of course, state-of-the-art drama. Production is slated to begin this Summer.

The U.S., along with its British and Canadian allies, faced a major challenge – the Nazis heavily fortified the entire Northern European coastline with numerous trenches, bunkers and high-powered weapons. The Allies had to find a weakness. They came up with a creative solution – 3D aerial photography. Spy planes carried two synchronized cameras, taking side-by-side photographs, which were then combined to create a three-dimensional map of the Nazi defenses. After two years of collecting data, these 3D photos showed the Allies Normandy was the best place to take down the Nazis. The 3D photos helped the Allies create daring missions and overcome the “devil’s garden” – full of landmines, blockades and steel fences – on the beaches of Normandy. Watch as World War II veterans recall that unforgettable day and military experts discuss how “3D” photography was the vital tool that brought the Allies to victory.

“D-Day in 3D” is a Discovery Channel/BBC co-production. For BBC, Eamon Hardy is executive producer; Jeremy Hall is series producer. The mother of 3-year-old Sophia Laurent Abraham, who gained fame on the popular MTV docu-series “Teen Mom” alongside three other young mothers, is going solo this time announced on Twitter (@F1abrahamthat) she made a deal with Spinboi films.

The reality star/fame whore had a ‘sex tape’ come out last moth, that she initally claimed was private, but as her porn co-star James Deen explained:’I think what happened is that [Vivid Entertainment] was going to pass it off as a sex tape and somebody saw us coming out of a building together and people asked me what’s going on.

‘So I was like, “We’re making a porno!”‘
The New York-based production company  also took to their Facebook page to confirm the news saying, “MAJOR NEWS!! Spinboi Films  has signed ‘Teen Mom’ Farrah Abraham to develop a new reality docu-soap! TV magic coming soon!”

The new show will follow the 22-year-old mom as she deals with growing up and raising her young daughter, but it still needs to be picked up by a network before it will be seen on TV.

Each episode visits a different American city to challenge four cooks, hailing from 24-hour diners to mom and pop eateries, in a cook-off to determine who will be crowned the king or queen of late night bites. The food brawls attract a raucous audience hungry for munchies that are salty and sweet, like deep fried bacon chili cheeseburger and peanut butter s’more french toast. LAST CALL FOOD BRAWL heads to some of the biggest late night cities in the U.S. to indulge in each town’s local flavor, including New Orleans, Austin, Memphis, Nashville and Atlanta. Each week, only one contestant will win the coveted Golden Fry Basket!

New Orleans: Po’ BOYS AND BURGERS Premieres Monday, June 10 at 10 PM E/P
Adam makes his way to the Big Easy where he’s gathered four of the Crescent City’s best late night cooks: the po’boy king; the self-made BBQ master; the kitchen diva, and the easy-going family man. Round one will have each contestant battling it out in a “Po’boy Insanos” challenge, which will be followed by a mind-blowing, epic Burger Challenge.

AUSTIN: TACOS AND BURRITOS Premieres Monday, June 17 at 10 PM E/P
In the Lone Star State capitol of Austin, Texas, the queen of fried chicken; a young and ambitious food truck owner; a trained culinary chef and a lovable teddy bear from a 24 hour diner are ready to battle for the Golden Fry Basket. They will square off for the first round challenge, “Tacos Insanos,” making the most over-the-top tacos the city has ever seen. And the main challenge will have the chefs creating an epic Tex-Mex dish befitting the state where everything’s bigger.

MEMPHIS: RIBS AND NACHOS Premieres Monday, June 24 at 10 PM E/P
It’s the place that one of late night food’s biggest fans, Elvis Presley, called home… Memphis, Tennessee. And this week’s line up of competitors features a veteran pit master/restaurant owner; the football player turned late night chef; the underdog who worked his way up the line; and the young hot shot with plenty of attitude. The first round has them making cheesy, piled-high nachos that live up to the “Insanos” challenge, while the final and main challenge will see who can take the classic Memphis favorite –BBQ – and blow away the judges with their creation.

Atlanta: WINGS AND BAR BITES Premieres Monday, July 1 at 10 PM E/P
In the Big Peach, four of Hotlanta’s best late night cooks; the ex-rebel, the college dropout turned cook; the military, soul food master; the high school dropout, rising star chef; and the ex-criminal justice cadet turned chef are each tasked with making the crispiest, most mouthwatering fried chicken dishes imaginable, followed by a bar food challenge for the ages.

NASHVILLE: HOT WINGS AND QUESO Premieres Monday, July 8 at 10 PM E/P
Music City, USA features a young buck and Nashville’s “hot chicken” master; the granddaddy of the city’s late night food scene; a trained culinary chef; and a wild, bar food specialist. The first round is a “Nashville Hot Chicken” inspired “Wings Insanos,” while the final challenge will see who can create the ooziest, creamiest, deep fried dish featuring the king of all late night ingredients… cheese.

This season, the guest star roster explodes with some of the biggest comedy stars in film and television.
