(PCM) John Cena will return to action tomorrow night during the live Memorial Day edition of Monday Night Raw on the USA Network. Cena who has been sidelined with an injury was told by doctors he would be out for nine months, but is returning after only five months. How will Cena fit in with all the new talent WWE has been pushing lately. What will his return mean for the WWE Universe?
In other WWE news, it was announced earlier this week that Smackdown will be moving to Tuesday nights, live on the USA Network. There has been talk of having a brand split that was first done back around 2002 when there was influx of wrestlers from WCW. The idea is to have two World Champions. One Woman’s Championship. And the US and IC title defended on both shows.
Vince McMahon has been described as having many good ideas in that crazy brain of his. We shall see how all this plays out as the ratings have been in the decline in the past several weeks. I think this is a good move on WWE’s part due to all the wrestlers from NXT appearing. Should give more talent a chance. Having two World Champions will kind of be different, but it’s nothing we haven’t seen before.
