(PCM) WWE’S 2016 Hall of Fame Ceremony is almost upon us. The annual event takes place the night before the biggest show of the year, WrestleMania. The following is a list of WWE superstars past and present who deserve there spot in the Hall of Fame. I’m still wishing the Spanish announce table gets inducted, but I don’t induct anyone. I just write the stories. The Hall of Fame Ceremony will air on the WWE Network on April 2, 2016. The following is a list of inductees as of this writing.
Stan Hansen: Hansen has been one of the most recognized brawlers in professional wrestling history. Hansen began his career in 1973 and wrestled all the way up to 2001. Some of Stan Hansen’s greatest feud’s included Andre the Giant, Bob Backlund, and Bruno Sammartino. Hansen actually broke Sammartino’s neck in 1976. Hansen appeared in many promotions including WWWF, WWF, AWA, and across sea’s in Japan in All Japan and New Japan Pro. He was one of the stiffest workers known in Japan.
The Big Boss Man: A former prison guard The Big Boss Man, Ray Traylor. Rose to fame in the WWF and WCW. Big Boss Man held the WWF World Tag Team Championship. And the WWF Hardcore Championship four times.
The Fabulous Freebirds: Comprised of Michael “ P.S.” Hayes, Terry “ Bam Bam” Gordy and Buddy “Jack” Roberts ushered in the 80s with their rock and roll lifestyle. They have held various championship titles in their legendary career.
Jacqueline: Starting her career in the early 90S a Dallas native Jacqueline started competing in the USWA. It was her time in WCW that she got national attention when she would compete against male and females. She was the first African American woman to win the WWF Woman’s Championship in 1998.
Sting: The icon Sting will be inducted by none than Ric Flair. Flair has always said” to be the man you have to beat the man.” Well these two are no strangers to each other as they have had many battles in the squared circle. Sting has been in the wrestling business for a very longtime. He’s long stint in WCW made him a house hold name. He is one of the greatest technical wrestlers of his era and the depth of his character has never changed.
The Godfather: Helping the attitude era break the edge comes The Godfather. The Conductor will be bringing the Ho Train to the Hall of Fame.
