It’s been an exciting – and sometimes jaw-dropping – Olympics for gymnastics, but tonight is the final night and we are sure to get an array of American medal hopefuls. Aly Raisman should compete for medals on her two signature events, floor exercise and balance beam, and hopefully Jordyn Wieber will get her chance to medal on her own in the floor exercise. On the men’s side, both Danell Leyva and Jonathan Horton will compete on high bar.

There will also be a myriad of events and contenders hitting the track. The American hurdlers Dawn Harper, Kellie Wells and Lolo Jones target redemption while a pair of American milers aims for the first American medal in the 1500m since the 1968 Mexico City Olympics. American high jump sensation Jesse Williams is among the favorites for gold.

And the night isn’t over without one last, huge event we’ve been waiting for. Back on the sand, beach volleyball moves into the semifinals and we’ll see Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh Jennings continue to eye that golden three-peat after sweeping the competition in Athens and Beijing!

Let’s go Team USA!
