(PCM) 134 million teens logged onto the computer and voted for their favorite TV, music and movies. This year’s show was hosted by Demi Lovato and Kevin McHale. Before the show we talked with Kevin McHale about the excitement of hosting a live show. He was very excited about working with Demi and “having the spontaneity of it being live, because you can only plan so much, so I’m going to hopefully be prepared for anything”. What helps him keep perspective is that he and Demi ”would look forward to Teen Choice Awards [every single summer] and now here we are and we’ll be hosting it”.
Throughout the evening a swarm of awards were announcing including the Ultimate Choice Award, which was presented to Kristin Stewart, and the ACUVUE® Inspire Award, which recognized Miranda Cosgrove, star of the TV series “iCarly,” for her inspiring work with children and teens advocating the importance of higher education.
