The cast has officially been announced for the upcoming all-star season of ABC’s hugely popular show, Dancing with the Stars. Judging by the line-up of winners, runners-up and more that we’ll be seeing vying for the super-coveted title of “all time greatest” this time around, it’s clear ABC wanted season 15 to be the best yet!
Apolo Ohno –Season 4, Winner
Bristol Palin –Season 11, Third Place
Drew Lachey –Season 2, Winner
Emmitt Smith –Season 3, Winner
Gilles Marini –Season 8, Runner-Up
Helio Castroneves –Season 5, Winner
Joey Fatone –Season 4, Runner-Up
Kelly Monaco –Season 1, Winner
Kirstie Alley – Season 12, Runner-Up
Melissa Rycroft – Season 8, Third Place
Pamela Anderson – Season 12, Sixth Place
Shawn Johnson –Season 8, Winner
But you may notice, there are only twelve names there…
The 13th competitor will be voted in by America! America will have a choice between Kyle Massey (Runner-Up in Season 11), Sabrina Bryan (Seventh Place in Season 5) and Carson Kressley (Eighth Place in Season 13) as to who they would like to see return and the individual with the most votes will enter the competition and lace up their dancing shoes!
Of the confirmed 12 contestants, we’re surprised at how many winners are back and we have to point out that the only one of the twelve who wasn’t a winner, runner-up or third place contestant in their season is Pamela Anderson. Come on, that’s funny!
Check out the trailer for the upcoming season below:
We admit, we’re pretty pleased with the line-up, although that doesn’t mean we don’t have a few “you really brought THEM back?” contestants in there. We, also, have some early favorites already picked out.
Who do you think will take the coveted title this year? Who will be the first out? And who will you vote for to bring back into the competition?
