It’s almost time for Teen Choice 2012 and in gearing up for the star-studded two-hour event airing live Sunday, July 22 on FOX, not only has the first wave of nominees been announced, but so has one of the main performers for the evening: No Doubt!

No Doubt, the world-renowned Grammy Award-winning rock group, will perform together live for the first time in a year-and-a-half at the Teen Choice 2012 Awards. The band last shared the stage in 2012, when they performed for President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama, at the annual Kennedy Center Honors.
““I can’t believe this is actually happening. The idea of playing our new music live is heaven on earth. Can’t wait to share it!” said pop icon and lead singer Gwen Stefani. Bassist Tony Kanal added, “We’re so stoked to finally start performing these new songs live. And to be doing the first performance of our first single here in Los Angeles makes it even more awesome.”
This year’s Teen Choice Awards are sure to be as exciting and anticipated as years prior as they continue to celebrate the hottest teen icons in TV, music, film, sports, fashion, comedy and web. The Vampire Diaries and American Idol lead the TV categories with most nominations, five and six respectively, and Justin Bieber leads the Top Artist categories, with five nominations to his name this year. The show will also introduce two new awards this year: Choice Book and Choice Electronic Dance Music (EDM) Artist.
Fans 13-19 can vote once each day per category for their favorite nominees at www.teenchoiceawards.com. More information on hosts, performs and presenters coming soon!
