We may not have been sleeping on benches or dancing on the subway for money, but fans of truTV’s hit series Impractical Jokers were certainly left to wonder what would become of their favorite new show when word never came about a season renewal.
But today, we rejoice! While we knew deep down that truTV wouldn’t let go of this priceless series, fans everywhere got word today that we will officially be having a second season of Impractical Jokers.
Even better? The 15-episode second season has plans to launch before the end of the year… in December 2012! Even better than that? The four best friends and rising stars – Murr, Sal, Joe and Q – made a video to deliver the good news to their army of fans.
Want to see the video? (Trust us, you do!) Check it out on their Facebook fan page: http://facebook.com/ImpracticalJokers
So as the Jokers get back to more outrageous challenges, let’s all take the time this week to celebrate the excellent news. Whether you start dancing like Sal, jumping up and down like Q or kicking your heels like Murr (or, the oldie but goodie, calling for Larry like Joe), be on the lookout for fellow Impractical Jokers fans because you can bet with news this great – we’ll all be acting a little impractical.
But remember one thing as we, too, acclimate back into society after trying to drum up endless support for the show… no more benches!
Still want more from the Jokers? Well, check out our interviews with Sal and Murr and Joe.
Did you miss the first season? Is this the first time you’re hearing about the show? In a nutshell, it’s a hidden-hijinks show that feature four lifelong friends who challenge one another to do the most ridiculous and outrageous public dares imaginable. Need more convincing? It premiered to critical acclaim, became on of truTV’s biggest hits with an average of 2 million viewers and pulled in one of the youngest demographics for any truTV series.
It’s never too late to get hooked, so do whatever it takes – it could be as simple as checking On Demand – to find a few episodes and watch them. You’ll laugh so hard, you will find yourself coming back for more.

i love the show
