To celebrate the seventh season of Futurama, premiering Wednesday, June 20 at 10 PM, Comedy Central launched a countdown at the beginning of May that is to feature 50 days of exclusive content.
The Countdown to Futurama will run for 50 consecutive days, leading right up to the premiere, and will provide fans with exclusive content including preview clips, character designs, episode stills, story boards and more each day! Futurama’s Facebook page is where you can find all the goodies, so be sure to “like” the page and get your own countdown going. T-minus 42 days now!
But that’s not all! Starting this past Monday, Comedy Central Digital will feature one podcast a week – seven in total – which will include a week’s worth of “Countdown to Futurama” content within each one. Hosted by Executive Producer David X. Cohen, who will be joined by a rotating cast of other Futurama writers and producers, this all-new feature will provide viewers with inside commentary on each piece of exclusive content along with a first look at images from upcoming episodes and more! The Futurama weekly podcasts will only be available on iTunes.
