Cougar Town fans, rejoice! While Cougar Town may have been on the cancellation bubble over at ABC, the “cul de sac crew” is not saying goodbye this year, they’re just moving to a different neighborhood!

TBS, known for its always funny and increasingly original programming has ordered a fourth season of the acclaimed sitcom, to begin airing in early 2013. TBS has also garnered the encore rights to Cougar Town’s first three seasons of 61 episodes that originally aired on ABC.

“Cougar Town is a smart, whimsical sitcom that draws its humor from likable, relatable characters” said Michael Wright, president, head of programming for TBS, TNT and Turner Classic Movies (TCM). “We are thrilled to have Cougar Town moving to the TBS neighborhood as the network continues to expand its slate of original comedy series.”

Need to catch up or start tuning in? There won’t be a better time than when TBS starts up their Cougar Town encores. Here’s what you need to know to get started. The lovely Courteney Cox stars as Jules Cobb, a recently divorced mom struggling with the challenges and pitfalls that come with a new chapter in life. With a group of friends played by actors Brian Van Holt, Christa Miller, Ian Gomez, Josh Hopkins and Busy Philipps and Dan Byrd starring as Jules’ college-student son, there is never a short supply of laughter!

The announcement of Cougar Town moving to TBS makes it one of many new series TBS is adding to its line-up. This summer we’ll see the premieres of Men at Work and Sullivan & Son and later this year, the debut of the new series Wedding Band.
