The Wendy Williams Show is getting wiggy with its month-long 500th episode celebration kicking off today with big celebrity guests, surprise giveaways, games awarding $5,000 in cash money and Wendy Williams donning a different wig every day leading up to the milestone 500th show to air on Wednesday, May 23.
To help celebrate the milestone, star-studded guests like Paula Abdul, Joel McHale, Raven-Symone, Rocco DeSpirito, Blair Underwood, Linda Hogan, Andy Cohen, B.o.B., Chandra Wilson and many more will sit down on the couch with Wendy now through May 23.
Beginning the week of April 30, surprise giveaways will be awarded to the audience every day thru May 23. Home viewers will also have the opportunity to win by visiting www.wendyshow.com.
Lucky studio audience members will also have the opportunity to win $5,000 cash money during “The Wendy 500,” which premieres April 30 and will debut as a different game each week. The week of April 30, fans will be led from the audience to the money booth. And the week’s of May 7 and May 14 respectively, participants will swing a sledgehammer in the strong man challenge, and throw up baskets in a basketball shootout.
Starting May 1, viewers will delight in “Wig A Day” when Williams will hang up her traditional long, curly locks for a different hairstyle every day. This last part makes us want to tune in most of all. Who would think to do that?! Wendy Williams!
