HBO is bringing us a new comedy series, Girls, that Lena Dunham, series creator, star, writer and director, says tells the story of the time when someone is “not a girl, but not yet a woman.” Yes, she used a Britney Spears lyric to explain her show. What more enticement do you need?

When the series premieres this Sunday, April 15, at 10:30 PM, we’ll meet Hannah, Marnie, Jessa and Shoshanna, the leading ladies who are trying to figure life out. They’ve been living in New York for a couple of years, but they’re still not sure what they want – from boys, from each other, from themselves. And things aren’t getting any clearer.

But that is bound to be beneficial for viewers because a show like this will provide a great comic (and uncannily accurate) look at the assorted humiliations and rare triumphs of girls in their early 20s just trying to figure life out.

In anticipation of the premiere, we’ve got a few goodies to share with you – like an extended trailer for the show and a conversation with the cast about the show. Check them out below!
