Every week, USA gives us new episodes of our favorite shows to look forward to. At the top of that list is Psych and this week promises to be one of the highlights of the season!
We all know and love Woody, the Coroner, and we certainly adored seeing him out on the case with Shawn, Gus and Lassie in “Late Night Gus” earlier this season, but this Wednesday he gets a big episode of his own, called “Autopsy Turvy.”
Woody steals the scenes even when it’s only a minute-long scene down in the morgue, so we can only imagine the absolute delight we’re in store for this week when he comes out of the morgue… and into a bit of hot water!
That’s right! He’s in the hot seat after a rival mortician, who just so happens to be a former lover, brings to light a mistake Woody made while performing an autopsy. Shawn and Gus try to figure out the real cause of death as well as save Woody from losing his job… because the SBPD just wouldn’t be the same without our favorite coroner. (Is it weird to have a favorite coroner? Well, just as weird as Woody, maybe!)
But even better, you can speak to the man himself, Kurt Fuller, who nails his performance of Woody every time out, as he joins up with producer and the writer of this episode Andy Berman live during the episode on Character Chatter.
We actually had the chance to speak with Kurt about Woody just a few days ago and he revealed plenty of great insights about the set and Woody, himself!
