The Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine is in final negotiations to appear on season two of the FX television series, “American Horror Story.”

The “Moves Like Jagger” singer has already made a name for himself on television one of  the judges on NBC’s singing competition “The Voice” but will be making the switch to a scripted series for the first time in his career. Levine will be playing one half of a contemporary couple called “The Lovers.”

“American Horror Story” producers are so fond of Levine that they have even arranged to work around the pop-rocker’s summer touring schedule. While the premiere of season two won’t air until October of this year, we know that several actors from last season will be returning but as different characters including Jessica Lange and Zachary Quinto.

Co-creator Ryan Murphy said the new season will take place at an entirely different location on the East Coast with a new storyline. Goodbye Murder House hello mental institution. Sounds like it’ll be another creepy season.
