Breakout Kings returns Sunday, March 4, on A&E for its highly anticipated second season and we can’t hide our excitement. Sure, they may be cons, but somehow they’ve just found a place in our hearts and we can’t get enough. But in the premiere, the tension and stakes are higher than ever and hearts will break when tragedy strikes. Seriously, grab the tissues.
This season promises to be even more exciting than the first because while the Kings may have gotten their feet wet in learning how to catch fugitives on the run, it doesn’t mean that things will be smooth sailing this season. Case in point: the premiere episode, “An Unjust Death.”
On Sunday, the Kings are back on the job and in pursuit of Damien, a particularly ruthless and vicious serial killer who may have it out for Lloyd. To add to this difficult situation, the group learns Charlie has been offered a promotion, leaving them uncertain about their future and the fate of the entire program. But things only get worse – much worse – from there as the case intensifies and tragedy strikes, leaving one King to pay the ultimate price and forcing the others to cope with an unimaginable loss. Tune in to find out which King will fall (and, again, bring your tissues).
