Long Live Nedna!
The votes are in! As revealed in Monday night’s Season 23 premiere of The Simpsons, Ned Flanders and Edna Krabappel have found true love!
“Nedna stayed together and the new girl in my life is simply ‘adorkable!’ That’s how we all have to 
talk on FOX now,” said Ned, in a prepared statement following the broadcast.
After last May’s “will-they-or-won’t-they” season finale, viewers were given the chance to decide the future of Springfirled’s newest “it” couple, Ned and Edna. Fans could either vote “Pro Nedna” or “No Nedna” on www.thesimpsons.com.
To fuel the fire, computer wallpaper, videos, Twitter badges and Facebook icons proclaiming pro or no were made available to fans throughout the summer. Once the votes were tallied and revealed during last night’s premiere, pro-Nednas cheered and anti-Nednites jeered as they saw the couple was bound together for all eternity by a majority of online Simpsons fans.
