Bing and The CW got together for a fall preview bash on the
Warner Bros. lot Saturday night, entitled "Bing Presents
The CW Premiere Party." New York Street was the location
and it was decked out for lights, camera and lots of celebrity
action with stars from the network's Ringer, Hart
of Dixie, 90210, The Vampire Diaries, Nikita
and The Secret Circle series.
"I like dresses on the red carpet," Rachel Bilson,
the star of the upcoming Hart of Dixie said. "It
is fun to dress up, because I feel I am so casual in my real
life. It is fun to dress up when I get to go to parties like
this."
Rachel came solo, but there were some cute couples at the
party, including Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev
(The Vampire Diaries); Britt Robertson (The
Secret Circle) and Dylan O'Brien (Teen Wolf)
and Emily VanCamp (ABC's Revenge) and Joseph
Morgan (The Vampire Diaries).
The Hart of Dixie area, which was right after the red
carpet, had a no-host Bourbon Bar, featuring Mint Juleps [bourbon,
sugar and mint] and Dixie Palmers [bourbon, sweet tea and
lemonade]
To
go with the theme, the buffet abounded with mini-burgers,
coleslaw, fried shrimp, and sweet potato fries, while the
waiters walked around with scoops of mac and cheese and chicken
and waffles finger food.
Did I mention that the waiters were all hot guys dressed in
tight black T-shirts and even tighter black pants? Probably
most of them were aspiring models and actors.
90210 star Gillian Zinser showed up looking
casual wearing a 1986 tour T-shirt and sporting a hat. She
revealed, "I have a rule. I am not allowed to spend more
than 10 minutes getting ready. I go with the vibe of what
I am feeling that day."
Next up, was The Secret Circle section, where the bar
featured drinks from the four elements: Earth: rum & coke;
Air: vodka, club soda, and sweet & sour; Fire: vodka and
cranberry juice; and Water: gin & tonic.
Between The Secret Circle and Ringer areas,
the food was more upscale: lamb chops, grilled veggies and
veggies with rice. The finger food was tomato bruschetta.
Kat Graham from The Vampire Diaries was on hand
dressed to the nines. She explains, "I am a statement
person, so I feel like fashion should make you feel something.
It shouldn't just be, 'Oh, it is pretty.' I feel I have a
responsibility with fashion to have it be the same that good
art makes you feel. So for me, I go with a theme. My theme
tonight is 1920s."
The tunes for the night were spun by DJ Vick One. In addition,
there were two photo booths: one for Hart of Dixie,
featured a baby gator, and the second was for the new series
hosted by Mario Lopez: H8ter.
Still want more? Don't worry, we've got it!
